The One Show presenter Alex Jones has once again showcased her relatability as she shared an update to her Instagram following her return from her holiday. Over the last week the 47-year-old and husband Charlie Thomson have been in Lanzarote with their three children, Kit, Teddy, and Annie.
Upon returning home to the UK, Alex shared an update to her Instagram Stories – and it just proves that the lives of celebrities are not too far away from everyone else. Putting a gigantic wash on, Alex captioned a video: “Anyone else have to get the first load on within 10 mins of arriving home??”
Alex has her work cut out as the TV star is back where she belongs on The One Show sofa on Monday, April 15. She returns to host the show with co-star Jermaine Jenas.

The presenter’s latest update comes after she posted numerous snaps to her Instagram Stories during her holiday. Alex shared a picture of the whole family during their “last supper”, which you can read more about here.
Alex confirmed she’d be taking a break from The One Show last week. She shared a picture from her dressing room, writing: "The face of a woman who is off on holiday. Thank you for watching this week and especially for all the lovely comments about last night’s One Big Thank you. The team is the best at finding the great stories. It was an emotional one."
