The One Show presenter Alex Jones has taken to Instagram to share a new photo of her family. The 47-year-old is currently taking time away from the BBC primetime show as she is on holiday.
Alex captioned a new photo of her, husband Charlie Thomson and their three children Kit, Teddy, and Annie: “Last supper”. Over the last week the family have been enjoying a holiday in Lanzarote.
The TV star has been keeping her Instagram followers up to date with her adventures. Earlier this week, Alex said holiday mode was "fully activated" as she shared a series of snaps on social media, writing: "Love Lanzarote so far! Thanks to @lizbeckettmua and @jopmakeup for the recommendation! It is perfect for little children.

"Great beaches and restaurants and everything is so easy to get to... The fact that they have disco lights around the pool is probably the most exciting thing for the children! Life feels extra nice in the sun!" You can read more on this here.
Alex confirmed she’d be taking a break from The One Show last week. She shared a picture from her dressing room, writing: "The face of a woman who is off on holiday. Thank you for watching this week and especially for all the lovely comments about last night’s One Big Thank you. The team is the best at finding the great stories. It was an emotional one."
