Cardiff City and Swansea City both saw a drop-off in the amount spent on player agents this season, new figures have revealed.
Having been in the top 10 this time last year, the Bluebirds and Swans have dropped to 12th and 18th respectively for this season. Cardiff have gone from £1,409,916 to £1,397,061, while Swansea have gone from £1,415,536 to £1,034, 658.
It's the fourth season in a row that Swansea's spending on agents has gone down, with the current figure a far cry from the £5.19m spent in 2019/20.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the three former Premier League sides once again lead the way. Leeds United spent a staggering £13,287,784, while Leicester City (£8.1m) and Southampton (£7.53m) round off the top three. All of those figures blow last season's highest of £4.81m from Norwich City out of the water.
Already-relegated Rotherham United spent the least this season, with their expenditure coming in at £440,671, although that was higher than the £273k spent last season.
In total £61,340,7670 was spent across the Championship, nearly double the £36,317,802 paid last year.
