The Easter holidays are upon us with mums and dads across Wales planning activities and adventures to keep their children occupied before they return back to school on Monday, April 8. But it can cost a lot to keep the kids happy and fed during the holidays with some parents finding it difficult to manage the extra expense.
But no matter where you live there is a way where you can keep the kids fed with warm meals for breakfast and dinner which will only cost you a grand total of £1 a day. And the best part of all is there's no cooking or washing up involved. Two supermarkets have special deals on to lend a helping hand during the extended break.
Starting in the morning at Morrisons stores you can get two toasted crumpets with butter and jam for no charge at its cafes from March 25 to April 14. All you have to do is approach the counter and ask for 'Ellen'. It is available every day from 8am until noon and applies for both adults and their kids.
