One Love Island star has enjoyed dining out in Wales and spoken about an "amazing" cafe he visited. Liam Reardon, who won Love Island in 2021 with Millie Court and hails from Merthyr Tydfil, was full of praise for the Welsh venue.
Posting a picture of his pancakes and eggs and beans on toast from the new Haystack Cafe in his home town, Liam said: "Damn. Think I underestimated the portion sizes. Tasted amazing though @haystackcafe this is in Merthyr for anyone wondering."
The first Haystack Cafe opened in Swansea and is inspired by the serene landscapes and warm hospitality of Welsh farms. The location quickly became a community favourite, offering local produce-inspired breakfasts and a cosy atmosphere that feels like a rustic escape and people often queue out of the door. In 2023 it was named as one of the best of its kind in the UK as the only Welsh restaurant among the finalists of the Uber Eats Restaurant Awards. The Merthyr cafe opened in February and offers up brunch and pancakes.
At the end of 2023 Liam made the move back to Wales after living in Essex, where girlfriend Millie is from. Liam and Millie met and won Love Island together in 2021, and stayed together for a year after the show ended before splitting for a year. The couple have since rekindled their relationship and appear to be going from strength to strength.

Liam added: "But it's good to be home," followed by a Welsh flag and a red love heart. In a separate post, the 24-year-old gave his fans a tour of his living room with his new sofa and television.
The Love Island star's move to Wales comes after he launched his new business venture Panda Events, with events in Cardiff and Swansea. Speaking on the WalesOnline podcast In The Spotlight about why he wanted to set up Panda Events, a party and entertainment service, Liam said: "I've always enjoyed the party scene. I went to work on Ocean Beach in 2019 and that kind of opened my eyes to it. I thought it was unbelievable. The team who set that up has done an amazing job. What I'm doing is on a much smaller scale but, still, you've got to dream big…"
