Viewers were left on the edge of their seats during the latest episode of Married at First Sight Australia as a seemingly ‘perfect’ couple came to blows. Over the course of the current series Richard and Andrea’s relationship has gone from strength to strength – until now.

At the start of the episode that aired on Thursday, April 11 viewers witnessed Richard and Andrea arguing ahead of the dinner party. They went round and round in circles until Richard accused Andrea of gaslighting him – an accusation which overstepped the mark for her.

"I'm not into you more than I've ever been to you," Andrea told her husband. "I'm not that guy," Richard said and Andrea snapped back: "No, you're worse."

In response, Richard said: "Good luck to you Andy. I hope you find the man that you want because it ain't going to be me.” Following the shock clash, viewers took to social media platform X, formerly Twitter, to share their thoughts.
