Drivers are warned ahead of a number of closures set to take place on the M4 this week which will see some key routes shut. Several closures will take place on the motorway for maintenance and repair work to be carried out.
Areas affected include Ynysforgan, Rogiet, Coryton, Miskin and Margam as well as many more in Wales and England. People are advised to allow for extra travel time as a result of these works. Here are all the M4 closures affecting Wales for the week starting Monday, April 15.

Planned closures in Wales:
The M4 eastbound exit slip road at junction 45 Ynysforgan is closed due to maintenance work between April 2 and April 19. The road is affected between 8pm and 6am.
One eastbound and one westbound lane between junction 23 Rogiet and the Prince of Wales Bridge will be closed due to maintenance work. The stretch is affected between April 15 and April 17 from 9pm to 6am.
The M4 eastbound entry slip road between junction 33 Capel Llanilltern and junction 32 Coryton will be closed due to emergency roadworks. The road will be closed on April 15 and April 16 between 8pm and 6am.
The entry and exit slip roads eastbound at junction 34 Miskin will be closed for emergency roadworks on April 15 and April 16 between 8pm and 6am.
The westbound entry slip road from junction 38 Margam to junction 43 Llandarcy will be closed due to maintenance work from April 14 to April 17 between 8pm and 6am.
The eastbound entry and exit slip roads between junction 43 Llandarcy and junction 42 Earlswood will be closed for maintenance on April 15 and April 16 between 8pm and 6am.
The M4 eastbound between junction 47 Penllergaer and junction 46 Llangyfelach will be closed for maintenance work from April 15 to April 17. The road is affected between 8pm and 6am.
Planned closures in England:
The M4 eastbound between junctions 20 and 19 will be affected because of roadworks. The road will be affected on April 18 and April 19 from 9pm to 6am.
The M4 westbound between junctions 5 and 6 will be affected due to roadworks. The road will be affected from 8pm on April 17 to 6am on April 18.
The M4 westbound between junctions 5 and 6 will be affected due to planned barrier repairs. They are scheduled from 8pm on April 15 to 6am on April 16.
The M4 eastbound at junction 4 will be affected due to roadworks from 10pm on April 16 to 5,30am on April 17.
The M4 eastbound at junction 4B will be affected due to roadworks from 10pm on April 16 to 5.30am on April 17.
The M4 eastbound at junction junction 10 will be moderately affected due to roadworks. Expect disruption everyday between 8pm and 6am from April 15 to April 20.
The M4 westbound at junction 12 is affected due to roadworks. Expect disruption everyday between 8pm and 6am from April 15 to April 18.
The M4 westbound between junctions 11 and 12 will be affected due to roadworks. Expect disruption everyday between 8pm and 6am from April 15 to April 18.
The M4 westbound between junctions 18 and 19 will be affected due to roadworks. It is scheduled from 9pm on April 19 to 6am on April 20.
The M4 westbound between junctions 17 and 18 will be affected due to roadworks. It is scheduled from 9pm on April 18 and 6am on April 19.
