UPDATE: Police have confirmed today - April 4 - that Alfie has been found.
Police are appealing for help to find a 15-year-old boy who has been missing since Tuesday. Alfie Smith was last seen at around 8.30pm on the evening of Tuesday, April 2 at Rhymney Court in Thornhill, Cwmbran.
His family are concerned for his safety and officers for Gwent Police are searching for him. He is described as 5ft 8” tall and of stocky build with mousy brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a blue hooded top, a black tracksuit trousers and black and silver trainers. He is believed to have links to the Bridgwater area of Somerset where he could have headed.
In a statement a spokesperson for Gwent Police appealed for the public's help to find Alfie. They said: "If you have any information on his whereabouts please call us on 101 or DM us on social media with the reference 2400106740. Alfie is also urged to get in touch with us.”
