Amazon shoppers are praising an ear wax removal tool they say is "probably the best £20" they've spent this year. The online retailer is selling the Rejauvan Ear Wax Removal Tool for £19.99.
The ear wax camera is equipped with a 1080P full HD camera, 20fps high image transmission rate, and has six LED shadow-less lights, and a six-axis intelligent directional gyroscope. The kit can be used wirelessly through an app on your phone.
It is compatible with most android and iOS smartphones and tablets. You can also monitor battery power, take photos, and record videos through the app.
The ear scoop covers are made of food contact grade silicone, so you don’t have to worry about scratching and irritating your ear canals during use. The earwax remover is equipped with a lens diameter of only 3.5 mm, which means it can not only remove earwax for adults but can even be used to clean the ears of children and pets.
The lens is IP67 waterproof and can be wiped with water or alcohol without damage after use. But be careful not to soak the whole device in water.
The kit has an overall rating of 4.6 stars out of five, having racked up more than 200 rave reviews. Among them, one person said: "I love using this tool and my ears have never felt cleaner.
"The battery lasts a very long time and charges quickly too, there are different interchangeable ends which can be used and the camera quality is quite nice too for what was paid. Overall a very reasonable price for a super useful product."
A second wrote: "Had a ruptured ear drum which left me deaf in one ear for nearly 3 weeks. Docs prescribing drops and sprays wasn't helping and I was just told it's wax. Took things into my own hands and ordered this to see for myself. Amazing little tool.
"Discovered it wasn't wax but hard dried blood at bottom of ear. Not only did I get to see clearly what was causing my hearing loss while videoing it, but the little tools meant I could hook it out and voila, I could hear again. So my verdict? Doctors aren't always right - this is probably the best £20 I've spent this year - and poke in your ear at your own risk."
A third shopper added: "I decided to try this out and to my surprise it’s amazing, the camera lets you see everything it’s so clear and accurate I feel like I got to clean my ears on a really top level amazing tool I really recommend."
Another said: "Recently I purchased an ear wax removal tool that has been a game-changer for me. It's made the process of cleaning my ears quick and easy, with no discomfort. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a simple and effective solution to keep their ears clean and healthy."
However, some people were less impressed with the kit. One shopper said: "I thought this looked like a great tool but upon receiving it the iSee App wouldn't install. I read other reviews on the App and found that there was a newer one. I tried to install that but that wouldn't install either. Sent it back for refund sadly."
Another wrote: "It works but the signal is laggy making using it really difficult if not dangerous as its easy to poke your ear drum. The attachments don't work that well and it's impossible to tell which way round they are when using them. Also if your ears have any hair forget using it as you can't see past the hair."
